Download Swades WallpapersWhile Ashutosh Gowarikar is eagerly looking forward to the box-office response to SWADES, scheduled for release after three days, his former assistant in LAGAAN, Sanjay Daima, is also readying for the release of his directorial debut, the Madhavan starrer, RAMJI LONDONWALE, which is now in the post-production stages. The film, a re-adaptation of the successful south hit, NALA DAMAYANTI (original story by Kamal Hassan), was earlier titled BAWARCHI. It has been produced by London based producer, Dr Murli Manohar and has been exhaustively shot in London. The experience of shooting the film was a unique one, according too Daima, what with a number of artistes from LAGAAN, also being part of the film but the one he enjoyed working with most was Madhavan, with whom he has cultivated an excellent rapport ever since. "He is an actor with a tremendous range and it was great working with him. Moreover, what is commendable is his simplicity and down-to-earth attitude, which makes him easily accessible," says Daima.
