Actress Ayesha Takia is overwhelmed by the good will that has been coming from well wishers, friends and even veteran actors, who see a lot of talent in her. First it was Naseeruddin Shah, who mentioned her name in one of his interviews and said that he saw a lot of promise in her from among the few emerging actors on the scene. Then last week Ayesha happened to read Preity Zinta's comment in a leading daily, where Preity felt that Ayesha's name would figure among the happening faces of 2005. "It boosted my spirits. It was such a nice gesture on Preity's part to encourage a newcomer like me, knowing that she is among the top three reigning actresses in the industry today. I was equally excited when an actor of Naseer's stature saw a lot of promise in my acting potential," says Ayesha.
Currently, she's taking a keen interest in the countdown to her two releases, DIL MAANGE MORE and SOCHA NA THA. "I am monitoring the promos of 'Dil Maange More' from time to time to check out the frequency and I have been reverting to producer Nikhil Panchamiya on this," she smiles.
