It is now the turn of TV actress Sweta Keswani to sizzle in item numbers.
On the small screen, she has featured in Aruna Irani's "Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand" and Rajat Mukherjee's "Love in Nepal", starring Sonu Nigam.
Sweta has performed a hot number 'Qurbaan' -- a la Mehbooba (the hit number by Helen in "Sholay") -- in director T.L.V. Prasad and producer Mahendra Dhariwal's forthcoming film "Tauba Tauba", starring Payal Rohatgi.
Says Sweta: "It's this folk-dance kind of number where I have gyrated to Bosco-Caesar's amazing choreography. The tune is very catchy and I am dressed in some really hot clothes, including 'J-Lo' (Hollywood's Jennifer Lopez) kind of skirt. My look is very different," she gushed.
Shot on a disco-like set in Pune, "there was no time for rehearsals, I just had to learn the steps then and there and go for a take. But it was really good fun", Sweta said.
The film, which has already been canned, is slated for release in a couple of months "though the video of that song would go on air soon".
Ask Sweta her gut feeling about the number and she laughs: "Well, I have lost all faith in my gut feeling after the debacle of 'Love In Nepal'. In case of item numbers it's all about 'if the number clicks'; and I hope it does..."
Apart from the item number, she's also looking forward to "a 'Raghu Romeo'-style film called 'Jackpot' about five guys and a dance-bar girl who plan a robbery. It's a 'Masti'-style sex comedy directed by Sanjay Khanna," she said.
