The police custody of filmmaker Kaizad Gustad and two of his crewmen was Thursday extended till June 14 in connection with the death of British- Pakistani Nadia Khan.

The 36th Metropolitan Court in Mumbai rejected the bail application of Gustad, line producer Ashish Udeshi and his assistant Hadley D'Mello.

Metropolitan Magistrate P.T. Rahule also directed the Government Railway Police (GRP) to collect and seize all relevant material from the film production unit.

Rejecting the bail application, the magistrate observed, "It could be considered after the expiry of police remand."

Gustad, Udeshi and D'Mello were arrested in connection with the death of Nadia Khan.

Khan, 27, was assisting Gustad on the sets of "Mumbai Central" when she was reportedly knocked down by a train near the Mahalaxmi station in south Mumbai May 25.

The film crew initially said she was hit by a truck but later revealed the true circumstances of her death.

The counsel for Khan's family said they were planning to file a police complaint against Ayesha Shroff, who was reportedly financing the film, for "negligence".

C.G. Ashokan, the Mahalaxmi station superintendent, was asked by the court "to present himself to the Mumbai Central police station whenever required and cooperate with the investigating officer".

His bail application will come up for hearing June 21.
