Salman Khan is gushing about playing a principled, truthful and candid cop called Arjun Ranawat in "Garv".
He says: "My character is straightforward, politically correct, uncomplicated and easy, who can shoot a criminal without batting an eyelid, yet, at the same time is tongue twisted when it comes to professing his love."
"Arjun Ranawat is a character you will remember even after you've left the theatre. I remember when I was a kid, which was quite recently (smiles), I used to watch a lot of Bruce Lee movies. I used to come out of the theatre thinking I was Bruce Lee. Likewise with Amitabh Bachchan films. You feel like you're Bachchan after you watch a rocking film of his. The best part about 'Garv' is that you will feel you are Arjun Ranawat when you walk out of the theatre."
The other character is of a Muslim cop, Hydar Ali, played by Arbaaz Khan. The two together take up the task of fighting the underworld.
