It appears that T-series has some major production plans lined up in the coming year with the rate at which it is forging tie-ups with directors and leading banners for joint venture projects. After recently announcing its plans to repeat the Vinay Sapru-Radhika Roy team in its next film after LUCKY, T-series has now tied up with producer-director Raj Kanwar for a joint production to be directed by the latter, which will star Akshay Kumar in the lead. "It is a joint venture between me and T-series which will be launched on a very big scale early next year," confirms Kanwar, who is currently in the final stage of scripting for the film. "We are working on the rest of the cast though Akshay has been confirmed for the film," he adds.

Kanwar incidentally has shared a long association with T-series with the latter releasing the music of most of his films, the last of them being AB KE BARAS.
