After being hailed as one of the most complete debutants to have arrived in 2007 with NAQAAB, Delhi girl Urvashi Sharma succeeded in making quite an impression by displaying very good range in emoting. However, to everyone's surprise, she disappeared after NAQAAB.

"Now that's the kind of reaction that I like", laughs Urvashi, "It should always be 'where were you' rather than 'why are you here? It feels so great that people out there are willing to see more of me and there is a good curiosity that I am coming back. This is what you expect as an actor. When you go out and random people come and ask me that why they havenít seen more of me since NAQAAB, it does give you a pleasure."

While she has a full fledged role in this male dominated film (newcomer Soham Shah, Mithun Chakraborty, Sushant Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Govind Namdeo, Om Puri, Tinu Anand, Shakti Kapoor), she is confident of making her presence felt in BAABARR.

"It was a conscious move since I didn't want to sign any and every movie that came my way", says Urvashi, "I didn't want to work on a stupid film. I wanted to work in sensible cinema. This is why when Ashuu Trikha (DEEWANAPAN, ALAG) came to me with the script of BAABARR, I was like 'Wow, let me do this film because I can learn so much from it'."

BAABARR has a small time setting to it with Urvashi playing a girl belonging to a lower middle class family.

Based on true events, BAABARR tells the story of a namesake dreaded killer whose reign of fear terrorized everyone, right from the common man to the Government, in a Northern state of India. Debutant Soham Shah (not to be confused with the director of KAAL and LUCK) plays the title role while Urvashi Sharma plays his love interest. Produced by Sunil Saini and Mukesh Shah, BAABARR, which has music by Anand Raaj Anand, is all set to release on 11th September.
