Accompanied by limited promotion, ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD is now releasing this Thursday, 31st December. This thriller would be Celina's second release of the year after PAYING GUESTS. Though she was one of the four leading ladies in her comic outing, Celina is the central protagonist in ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD which is based on a true story. Given the fact that the promos are hinting of a gritty and edgy thriller in the offering, is Celina exploring the darker side of human emotions in the film?

"Arrey nahi, the film is not dark from any angle. Yes, it has its own grey shades but the film doesn't turn violently dark by any means. We are looking at the complexities of human minds and how everyone is right from his own point of view when trapped in situations that go out of control", says Celina who is happy to be seen in an author backed role.

The situation in the film is that of an accident happening where Celina is at the driver's seat and there is a man (Farooque Sheikh) who is knocked down.

"Whether it is Farooque saab, me or Abhimanyu (Singh); you can put any one of us as the main leads and you would say that he/she is right", she goes on to elaborate, "There are very few humans who are completely nice or bad. Pick up any average human being and he would have grey undertone to him. This is why once you see the film, different point of views would emerge and everyone would appear to be right."

ACCIDENT ON HILL ROAD is a Nari Hira production and is the debut effort of director Mahesh Nair.
