Abbas-Mustan's 'way ahead of its time' thriller NAQAAB saw the debut of the beautiful Urvashi Sharma, previously seen in music videos and ads. The film did not do well at the box-office and was one of the few rare failures for the talented brother duo. But Urvashi stood her ground against the likes of seasoned actors like Akshaye Khanna and Bobby Deol, and did a good job in a complex role.

However, since then Urvashi Sharma seems to have disappeared and so it was quite a pleasant surprise when we met her at the opening of a new D' damas showroom. And naturally, the first thing that we asked her was what is she up to for the last couple of years, as NAQAAB released way back in July 2007. To that Urvashi replied coolly, ''I have four films at hand - Aditya Datt's CHAI GARAM, Aashu Trikha's BAABARR, CHASSNI and HUM AAPKE. All four are in various stage of production so I cannot tell you much about them at this point of time.''

Urvashi also lamented the fact that she had to struggle hard to make a foothold in the industry and accepted the fact that people with filmy background have an added advantage, as they do not have to struggle much. Being from Delhi only made it more difficult as she did not have anyone related to the industry to back her. But as a passing shot for all those aspiring to make a career in the industry, she said ''Where there is a will, there is a way, and it just depends on a person's will power. If he/she is really serious, there is no doubt that success will come their way.''

Wise words indeed! Looking forward to seeing Urvashi once again!
