BIG Pictures has always taken innovative stands to publicize and promote their films not just in India but abroad too! New Yorkers recently got a taste of Indian flavor while riding in local cabs in New York City. As part of innovative promotional tactics BIG Pictures are running DO KNOT DISTURB promo's on the touch screen monitors inside the New York City taxi cabs. The film will release across 1060 screens tomorrow worldwide. In the Middle East the film released today.

This first of a kind novel initiative is taking New York by storm as not only Indians but foreigners too are seen grooving on the music of this hilarious laugh riot. The promos have created enormous curiosity among the people and this avant-garde scheme is receiving great response from the international media fraternity as well.


According to Mr. Jawahar Sharma, COO, International Film Business, BIG Pictures ''New York is the melting point of the world and the NYC taxis best represent this. Via this promotion people of almost every ethnic background have experienced commercial Indian cinema at its best. The feedback has been great and we are hoping to introduce additional new customers to our film, DO KNOT DISTURB and to Indian Films at large.''

DO KNOT DISTURB a co-production between BIG Pictures and Puja Entertainment is all set to release worldwide on 2nd October, 2009. Earlier As part of the marketing efforts for the film BIG Pictures have used 'Flash Mobs' & Live trailers (Live skits inspired from the film) techniques engaging the audience across different strategic locations such as malls, shopping places, railway stations in Mumbai and Delhi which generated great enthusiasm among masses.

Directed by David Dhawan, DO KNOT DISTURB is a comedy of errors starring Govinda, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh, Rajpal Yadav.
