Last month Shahid was able to save a paper cup full of coffee without a drop spilling despite being mobbed while promoting his then upcoming film KAMINEY. This week post the release of this blockbuster, when Shahid walked across screaming fans on his multiplex visits, he not only lost his expensive dark glasses, but his metallic coffee flask was actually broken thanks to hysterical fans.

CHECK OUT: Shahid Kapoor is shy post KAMINEY

The spurt of fans since his superstardom has taken gigantic proportions. So much so that his spot boy, makeup artist, manager and publicist are almost doubling up as his body guards, struggling to keep him and themselves secure at public events.

It's not easy to break a metallic flask even in normal circumstances. This incident coupled with his sunglasses being picked up, and his team dealing with the increased crowds has lead Shahid to seriously consider hiring personal bodyguards now.

''Yes I am currently in talks with some security agencies so as to make sure my team's security is taken care of at such times,'' said Shahid Kapoor.
