Interestingly, the first song titled 'Whistle Baja' has the signature tune of Jackie Shroff's career-making film HERO. The popular flute theme has been contemporised for his son, Tiger Shroff's debut film.

When asked to director Sabbir Khan, what was the idea of using the signature tune in the song, he said, ''It is purely nostalgic factor! Jaggu Dada's (Jackie Shroff) song from HERO has gained cult status and it has sustained that over the years. So, we thought what better than to have the most respectful song here. However, we haven't just lifted it. We have made our own version of it and will present it coming Sunday.''

''Sa Re Ga Ma, who had the rights, and filmmaker Subhash Ghai were more than happy and willing to give us the song. In fact, when we showed the first cut of the new song 'Whistle Baja' from HEROPANTI to Sa Re Ga Ma, they were super thrilled about it ,'' he added.

CHECK OUT: No pressure in launching Tiger Shroff, says HEROPANTI director

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala wants to dedicate the first song of the film to all the flute players. As he feels that they should be given some credit to keep the tune alive for the last 30 years, which could also have been forgotten.

The first song of the film will have a version of the tune which has been well-liked by everyone and the flute players across the country are hugely responsible for this. Sajid Nadiadwala has also specially invited about 10 flute players to be a part of the first song launch. The producer of the film was very keen on honouring them for what they have unknowingly done.

Also introducing Kriti Sanon, HEROPANTI is slated to release on 23rd May 2014.
