Rohit Shetty: Don't know who'll be starring in RAM LAKHAN

Ever since the announcement of the remake RAM LAKHAN, there have been a lot of speculations about the cast of the film. Well, expect the speculations to continue as it seems the casting won't happen anytime soon.


Revealed Rohit Shetty, who'll be directing the film, ''RAM LAKHAN will release after two years. I don't know who’ll be starring in it. I will write the film first and then think about the casting.''

When asked whether it was his idea to remake RAM LAKHAN, Rohit said, ''It was Karan Johar's idea.''

Starring Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor in lead roles, the original RAM LAKHAN was released in 1989 and was directed by Subhash Ghai. Talking about the reaction of Subhash Ghai on it being remade, Rohit said, ''He was very emotional and even sent me an SMS.''

Rohit Shetty's RAM LAKHAN is scheduled for a 2016 release.
