In fact, ZED PLUS should satiate the camel slaying thirst of all those so called intellectual critics who have been complaining about most of the big budget commercial potboilers having jejune script and screenplay.

Says Adil about his character in the film, “You know, I come from a small town of Assam, and before I left home 25 years ago, and moved to the metros of India, and also for a long tenure abroad, I used to observe people from different streams of life. Just a few hundred meters from my house was this puncture shop where I used to take my bicycle for repair, and there was also a carpenter shop nearby. The memories of how they went about their chores is still etched in my memory. Maybe there is where Aslam Puncturewala has emerged from.”

Coming to the way ZED PLUS has been filmed, the actor told us, “You know, Doctor Sahab (Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi) is a very methodical and assured film maker. He did not let us change even a single word of what was written and he was surprised as I did not complain. The reason is very simple, and before you ask, I have done a lot of Shakespeare where obviously not a word can be changed,” concludes Adil.
