Though Radhika Apte, the latest sensation in Bollywood, had a minuscule role in the lately released film BADLAPUR, which has become a success now, she left an indelible mark with it.

As the actress visited's office recently for an exclusive interview, she responded, “It's very overwhelming. I was hoping that the film will be a success and people will like it but it's actually more than what I have thought will happen. Even our parts, which were smaller compared to Varun and Nawaz's of course because it's an ensemble cast film, are also being appreciated and being noticed. So, it was really a big deal.”
When we asked Radhika if she prefers doing small roles in big films or vice-versa, she candidly replied, ''No, actually I prefer big roles and want to do title roles but nobody has offered me yet. I think I'll bag sometime in future. It's not about big and small role. It so happens that by the time you get involved in the process and you want to do more, the shoot is over. And that makes you feel sad. I want to work on films for 2-3 months and stay completely focused on that. So it's not about small or big parts. I love smaller roles also if they are interesting and meaty.''

Her role in BADLAPUR has raised many eyebrows. In a particular scene, Radhika is seen shedding her clothes. When we asked about her bold role, Radhika said, ''No, I personally didn't think that it was a bold role because the definition of bold varies from person to person. The character intrigued me. So that was all I was thinking while enacting the scene.''

BADLAPUR also starred Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Vinay Pathak and Divya Dutta. The film was directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan.
