A few days ago, Preity Zinta was quoted about Salman Khan's hit & run case verdict and his bail by a publication.

She was quoted saying, “Salman is such a dear friend. And at a personal level, I would do anything for him. But no one is above law. Also, he is a star with such a huge following. Youth look up at him as an idol. That it's okay to drink and drive is not a message that should go out to them.”

But now, she has flatly denied speaking about Salman Khan's hit and run case verdict & bail. She wrote on a microblogging site, “How does an Interview of mine get printed discussing Salman Khan when I have NOT spoken about him in the press? Is it magic ? #indianexpress.”

Well it seems creating quotes of celebs on their own & making news stories out of them is what some ‘journalists' are into these days. Sigh.
