Remo D'Souza, renowned chorographer turned director, has always made films with a backdrop of dance. Be it ABCD to ABCD 2. And this is the first time Remo has ventured into an offbeat genre of superhero sci-fi film with A FLYING JATT. This also seems to be something out of his comfort zone.

In conversation with Remo D'Souza as he speaks about his new film, why he made a film with Tiger being a super hero to setting a visually high quality graphical representation of the film.

Excerpts of the interview:

After making films on dancing now you ventured into super hero flick, why?
I always had a dream to make a super hero film with unusual traits. My movie A FLYING JATT is comical. He makes mistakes, he is scared and he jokes. He is like us. And it was my dream to make a film like this and now I am living it.

Why did you choose Tiger Shroff for the same?
I always had him in mind. He suits the bill. He is famous amongst kids; he does his own stunt and is very much relatable to the role. Tiger's innocence and his dance moves are commendable. My superhero can do everything laugh, cry, romance, fall in love.

You made Tiger kiss as well. Was he apprehensive doing it?
Yes he was in way but I made him comfortable to kiss.

Why did you choose Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Tiger?
Why not! She too looks like a pretty doll and she is apt for the role. Once you see the film I am sure you will get to know.

The VFX is amazing and never seen before in India. Comment?
Yes, we have really worked hard on graphics you will surely love it once you see it. This is the first time in India such graphics have been used for a film.

There are very few films on superhero in Bollywood. KRRISH is a benchmark. Will you be able to break the record of Hrithik's franchise?
I don't know, it depends on the audience, but people will love this movie especially kids. As he is a comical super hero not the stereotypical one who that we have seen. He is superman, batman, all in one. I am sure there will be a sequel.

Who is your favorite superhero?
I like superman. And of course now I like my own created superhero A FLYING JATT

What are your upcoming projects?
I don't have anything in mind as of now.
