My Dear Rajkumar Hirani, I am happy to be called as an ‘idiot' but please don't force your divine fool – MUNNABHAI die a premature death. We love you equally as your cult MUNNABHAI series. Please.

Sir, you have been reportedly quoted saying, “I don't want to make a MUNNABHAI which is not as good, if not better, than the previous two. I'm going to make just one more after which someone else can take the franchise forward and it has to be equally good.'

While the scripting is still on and when I interviewed your mentor Vidhu Vinod Chopra that day, I was glad to know that the scripting of the third installment of your cult series is to commence from that auspicious day.

While your fascination with your dear friend Sanjay Dutt is understandable and you also told me that you are ready for all controversies and will be honest in making a biopic on Sanjay Dutt's life to be enacted on screen by Ranbir Kapoor.

I am sad by this sudden revelation on your cult MUNNABHAI series. Agreed the third installment – has went through roadblocks including the rumoured shelving of MUNNABHAI CHALE AMERICA where reportedly the second half didn't work out, I am sure Abhijat will come with something exceptional again for MUNNABHAI 3.

Sir, our Bollywood industry is always in dart of ideas; MUNNABHAI has given us new light of hope. The second installment went a notch higher with such an outstanding take on Mahatma Gandhi – the father of our nation. How beautifully you put across the teachings of Bapu in your story that was truly inspirational and enjoyable to the core.

Sir, in an interview you said ANAND is your favourite film and its one of my favourite as well. Your filmmaking is undoubtedly inspired from the works done by Hrishida (Hrishikesh Mukherjee) and Basu da (Basu Chatterjee).

I conclude my humble appeal quoting a line from our favourite Rajesh Khanna's immortal  ANAND said by the icon of the icons Amitabh Bachchan – ANAND mara nahi, ANAND marte nahi (ANAND can't die, ANAND never dies), similarly MUNNABHAI marte nahi, MUNNABHAI ko maro nahi (MUNNABHAI cannot die, pls don't force him to die)
