During the media interaction at the same event the actress was asked about her successful International stint, Priyanka shared, “I have worked very hard for it. I have stood my ground. I have done everything on my terms. I have never compromised and I am really happy of what I have achieved and I hope that with so much talent we have here in India, other people also get the recognition and acceptance in west.”

Interestingly when questioned about why her male counterparts are not making their presence felt on International platform the actress very candidly replied, “Try hi nahi karta koi.” When asked why is that, so pat comes her witty reply, “Himmat chahiye bhai.

Her statement though which she had said in a lighter vein clearly implied that male actors of Bollywood lack guts to try for Hollywood.

But reportedly the actress has now completely refuted to have made any such statement at all.

Apparently the actress has said that she was misquoted and her statement was taken out of context.

Well Priyanka, although in a mocking style, said that male actors lack guts, we wonder why the actress is contradicting herself now?
