So finally the trailer of Khiladi Kumar's much awaited film TOILET EK PREM KATHA is here and we must tell you it's extremely funny and yet very realistic.

Inspired by true incidents the film is a story of Manglik man Keshav who wants to get married. He eventually does get married but only to be left by his wife Jaya soon after their wedding. The only reason being that there was no toilet in his house. Forget his house there was no toilet in his entire village!

Open defecation was an old tradition in his village and it was something which was totally abhorred by his wife. So she gives him a dictate that if he wants her in his life then first he will have to make a toilet in his house.

The poor guy is now caught between his wife's legitimate demand and the superstitions of the villagers (How can one have a toilet in the same aangan (courtyard) where they plant the pious Tulsi plant?)

Now in his quest to get his wife's wish fulfilled he not only has to face the wrath of his villagers but also fight the corrupt government officials.

Both Akshay and Bhumi stand out in this trailer. And the best dialogue in this 3 minute long trailer is when Akshay says,“Ashiqon ne toh aashiqui ke liye Taj Mahal bana diya. Saala hum ek sandaas na bana sake!”

Now whether he succeeds in fulfilling his wife's wish or not for that we will have to wait for the film's release but we are pretty sure that this unusual love story does seem to have the power to change age old tradition of open defecation in India.
