Raj Kummar Rao and Shruti Haasan starrer BEHEN HOGI TERI, a rom-com that released this Friday, is Raj Kummar's first attempt in comedy genre.

Like the title of the film, every guy dreads one thing in life, 'what if I approach a girl and she bro-zones me'. The film is hugely based on this dilemma of every guy.

The story is about a molhalla in Lucknow wherein Gattu (Rajkummar Rao), his best friend (Herry Tangri) and company, the typical mohalla guys run for their life during Raksha Bandhan fearing what if girls tie them Rakhi. Gattu's childhood love and crush Binny (Shruti Haasan) is one of those firebrand type 'phuljharis' who goes around pointing potential 'saiyaans' into 'bhaiyyas'. He somehow manages to confess his love for Binny after Binny giving him certain Roadies types task - like propose a girl or pinch a body builder which is a big deal for Gattu.

If this was first half, the second half had some twists and turns when Binny's brother finds a prospect for his sister, a rich NRI Rahul (Gautam Gulati) who falls for Binny. The reason Binny is forced to walk the aisle is the same cliched of Bollywood films, 'Dono Behno Ki Shaadi Ek Hi Mandap Pe Honi Chahiye'. There comes a major twist when Gattu's father (Darshan Jariwala) spots Binny with his friend Bhura (Tangiri) and one confusion leads to another. Binny suddenly has two prospective grooms and everyone assumes that Gattu is nothing but her rakhi-brother.

Gulshan Grover, father of Bhura and Ranjeet, play the baddies in the film, trying to make it an action drama.

Amidst all this confusion and chaos Gatu finally confesses that he isn't anyone's brother. Raj's monologue, much like Kartik Aryan's monologue in PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA, is the best. Raj justifies why should guys think that every mohalla wali is their sister.

The supporting casts were powerful. The songs were average and weren't too pleasant. You can watch BEHEN HOGI TERI for Rajkummar's performance and if you enjoy comedy but mind you, leave your brains at home.

The dialogues of the film are catchy and surely guys of every area, be it rural, urban will connect to one line, 'kaun sa ladka ladki ko deke bolta hai isko mein apni behen banauga'.
