Fans of Euphoria now have a reason to cheer as popular singer and songwriter – Palash Sen shared the first look of the album ‘Sale’. Sharing the news, Palash wrote, “Someone told me we can’t do it.. ..We did! Euphoria’s SALE – 10.09.2021 and 14.09.2021. Samjhe? #euphoriasale” The singer also shared a BTS video teaser featuring the other Euphoria band members and some stills that will leave you intrigued.
SALE is the eighth album by Indian Indie band ‘Euphoria.’ The 7-track spectacle will take you on a ride across genres, sounds, styles, emotions and life experiences. Written at various points of time in Palash’s career, each song stands for a real life story witnessed or felt by him and the band. In a world where everything comes with a price tag, this album speaks about the one thing that cannot be bought – Love Or Is It?
SALE releases on the 10th of September as limited NFTs, and on worldwide streaming platforms on the 14th of September.
This album launch also marks the official inauguration of the inaugural edition of the Koo Hindi Fest, a 7 day event honouring and celebrating Hindi Creators across the country and providing them a platform to express and feature themselves, building up to the Hindi Diwas this 14th of September. It is only fitting that Palash and Euphoria, being one of India’s legacy Indie creators, is inaugurating this first-of-a-kind digital festival.
Euphoria is known for extraordinary music hits like ‘Maeri’ & ‘Dhoom’ that were massive hits in the 90’s. Since then, the band has been on the favourite list of music lovers across the country.
The Indian pop-rock band was formed by Palash Sen in 1988 in Delhi. The name ‘Euphoria’, a term used in psychiatry to describe a feeling one gets in a state of mania, was decided by Palash, who at the time was a student of medicine at the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi.
Euphoria released their first studio album titled ‘Dhoom’ in 1998 which gained critical acclaim and commercial success. Their initial singles ‘Dhoom Pichuk Dhoom’ and ‘Maeri’ became the most popular songs in that decade.
Euphoria became the pioneers of rock music in Hindi with albums like ‘Phir Dhoom’, ‘Gully’, ‘Mehfuz’, ‘ReDhoom’ and ‘Item’.
