Crazy Lagdi Music Review
Viacom 18 Studios’ upcoming release, MOTICHOOR CHAKNACHOOR, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty, showcases  ‘Crazy Lagdi’,  which is an Amjad  Nadeem Amir composed, Kumaar penned situational ‘nok jhonk’ love song.

Rendered in Swaroop Khan’s emotive vocals, the Punjabi lyrics effectively bring out the fiercely independent, aggressive, forthright character of the female lead, Athiya Shetty.

Nawaz wins hearts with his simplicity and mannerisms that are so very characteristic of his portrayal of an over the hill bachelor wanting to marry at any cost. The blossoming of romance between the two is shown in an interesting manner and does make the song worth a watch, and a hear!

Battiyaan Bujhaado Music Review
Next up ‘Battiyaan Bujhado’ (composer Ramji Gulati, lyricist Kumaar) is inspired by Suneil Shetty-Karisma Kapoor’s ‘Batti Na Bujha’ (GOPI KISHAN), not just lyrically but also in terms of its melody. Jyotica Tangri renders the number with ease and is supported well by the composer.

This time however it’s not a simple seductive number as the title suggests but funny and humorous with rib-tickling moments and is more of a dance/item number, featuring the hot Sunny Leone.

Nawaz with his geeky, nerd, over the top rag to rich businessman looks, is a class apart and especially when he tries to match steps with Sunny.

Kaise Banegi Sarkar Music Review
Next up, ‘Kaise Banegi Sarkar’ is a situational folk tune based wedding number, composed by Bharat-Hitarth with a sarcasm laced humorous lyrics by Bharat Menaria and rendered in a typical nasal twang by Vidhya Gopal, Dr. Pallavi Shyam Sunder, and Deepa Shirokhdar.

A song that will definitely bring a smile on faces, especially after watching the accompanying visuals,  which depict the circumstances and situations that lead to an extremely unmatched wedding of the two leads, Nawazuddin and Athiya.

Nawaz is just superb as the awkward, wary and hesitant bridegroom while Athiya too looks perfect as an overeager, confident, carefree bride.

Choti Choti Gal Da Music Review
Next up is ‘Choti Choti Gal Da’,  a nice, situational Arjuna Harjai composed number with some lovely, simple yet apt lyrics by Kumaar. Rendered by Arjuna Harjai featuring Yasser Desai its heart touching, roothna-manana number, light on the ears and quite catchy.

The video commences with a hurt Nawaz asking Athiya if she married him because of Dubai and not for love. The scenes that follow see the couple trying to come to terms with each other and making up for their behavior and they are well supported by their family.

Nawaz excels in emotional scenes and even Athiya does well in essaying the routine middle class ‘bahu’ and wife.
