Lucky Charm Music Review
Fox Star Studios, THE ZOYA FACTOR, adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel, The Zoya Factor (2008), started promotions with ‘Lucky Charm’, a Shankar-Ehsan-Loy composed, Amitabh Bhattacharya penned, Raghubir Yadav and Shankar rendered number.
Just the apt song with the right visuals & mix of emotions, romance, drama and comedy with popular cricket stars like Shikhar Dhawan (etc making an appearance), which provide a very interesting insight into what can be expected from the movie.
The song commences with Shah Rukh Khan’s introduction of Zoya Solanki, born on 25th June 1983, the day India lifted the world cup as her cricket crazy father ( army man Sanjay Kapoor) dubs her the lucky charm.
Dulquer Salman essaying role of India cricket captain and Sonam’s love interest is also shown.

KASH Music Review
The trailers , teasers and first song ‘Lucky Charm’ from Fox Star Studios Abishek Sharma directed THE ZOYA FACTOR showed fleeting glimpses of the budding romance between Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) and Nikhil (Dulquer Salmaan). Now the next track, ‘Kaash’ composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and superbly rendered by Arijit and Alyssa builds up their relationship further and has some nice romantic moments like the couple enjoying a bike ride wearing helmets etc .
The video commences with a cute romantic and humorous exchange of words as Dulquer Salmaan wearing a helmet (as disguise) knocks on Sonam’s door and asks her to let him in as he is being chased by some rogue journalists and Sonam cutely warns him not to take advantage of a girl all alone in a house to which Dulquer replies that he surely will. Dulquer looks handsome in dapper suit as team India poses for the camera as an awe stricken Sonam looks on.
Pepsi Ki Kasam Music Review
After a situational, ‘Lucky Charm’, romantic ‘Kaash’, Fox Star Studios Abishek Sharma directed THE ZOYA FACTOR comes up with the quintessential club/bar dance number, Pepsi Ki Kasam’ featuring the leads, Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor.
The Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composed, Benny Dayal rendered, Amitabh Bhattacharya penned number (nice innovative title as Team India is the brand ambassador of Pepsi) is a lively, breezy dance number which sees Dulquer and Sonam having a blast at a club.
Both dressed contrastingly, Sonam in all black sequined mini skirt while Dulquer in white suit look awesome. The choreography is simple yet engaging and the song has a youth appeal to it.
Maheroo Music Review
Keeping the rom-com genre of the film, THE ZOYA FACTOR, in mind, composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy come up with their trademark romantic style composition, ‘Maheroo’, very easy to hum, lively arrangements and nice back up chorals (Loy Mendonsa and Ravi Mishra).
Yasser Desai’s rendition is classy and so are the lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The video commences with Sonam’s tongue-in-cheek humour as she takes a look at Dulquer’s six pack abs and comments ‘Bhagwan deta hai toh chhappar phaad ke deta hai’.
Aesthetically picturized love scenes, especially with all clothes on in the swimming pool and beautiful fireworks makes ‘Maheroo’ worth a watch and hear. Sonam looks gorgeous in gown and Dulquer handsome in black leather jacket and white tee-shirt.
