King of 'bhajans' and veteran 'ghazal' artist Anup Jalota (whose devotional numbers have been a part and parcel of lives of countless people across the globe) and his associate Chaitannya Swami co-produce BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAIN. Naturally, for someone so very musically inclined like Jalota, one does expect some good music from the album composed by a host of fresh as well as experienced talents. The film which harpers on bromance, and focuses on the lives of four youths caught up in varied situations is a comedy and so the music expected from the bunched composers is youthful and fresh. So let us check out and see if the expectation are indeed met.

The hip hop title track, 'Boyss Toh Boyss Hain', rendered by the voice behind many chartbusters, Neeraj Shridhar, and is composed by fresh talent Willi Saadhak who also gives good support behind the mike. Sonika Sharma provides the interesting chorus. Lyrics are apt and situational and give a good insight into the characters of the leads.

The number also appears as a remix version with lots of added rhythm and beats.

CHECK OUT: BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAIN - Will the dark horse triumph again?

A situational but humorous, wacky as well as a sarcastic take on the happenings in the world is 'Gol Gol Gol' composed by Sayanthi Shailendra, and is sung by Mika in his own indomitable and popular style. The lyrics will surely be identified by the youth and the racy rhythm of the song too should make a mark with the young gen.

It's Mohit Chauhan at his eclectic best with the breezy romantic track, 'Sab Kuch Badal Gaya', a lovely melodious composition with a superb addictive chorus. The composer Sayanthi Shailendra provides good back up English chorals and adds to the charm.

'Kachcha Papad' sees the return of popular Punjabi 'bhangra' super star Laabh Jhunjhwa after a hiatus and he is simply superb in this situational dance track that is naturally 'bhangra' base. Anuj Garg composes and also provides able back up support. Lyrics are funny and the chorus, 'Papad toh assi hee belein hain' is hilarious.

Three music directors, Dhiren Raichura, Surjit Joshi, Dhwanit Joshi come together for 'Coffee Shop Mein Ho Gaya Nain Mataka', and the title itself is suggestive of the situation. Shashaa Tirupathi gets the sole privilege of singing in this all male dominated track and she does well.

CHECK OUT: BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAIN - Adil Hussain pleads with wife to come back!

Producer and king of 'Bhajans' Anup Jalota comes in with the motivational 'Dreaming' and is well aided by Sunidhi Chauhan. The number composed by Gourav Das Gupta is a nice, racy situational number. Lyrics are apt and inspirational and makes the composition an anthem of sorts.

To sum up, the album does spring a few pleasant surprises and songs like 'Sab Kuch Badal Gaya', 'Kachcha Papad' and 'Gol Gol' have the potential to get popular. The composers have brought in some fresh talents as well as experienced ones and together the team has crafted an interesting album.
