All out romantic musicals garner good expectations from their audio and naturally Mahaakshay and Evelyn starrer ISHQEDARRIYAAN is one of them. With super hit composers like Jeet Ganguly and Jaidev at helm of affairs (and new entrant Bilal Saeed as guest composer) expectations do rise further.

The album opens with 'Judaa', a superb chartbusting separation number that can easily rank right up with the best heart rendering compositions! Composed by Jaidev Kumar with lyrics by Kumaar and sung by the one and only Arjit Singh who sails through the high notes effortlessly. This one can be put on repeat mode.

The title song 'Ishqedarriyaan' by Jeet Ganguly is another chartbuster that one comes across right in the beginning. The romantic composition sung excellently by Ankit Tiwari, the mellifluous number wins hearts with its east meets west arrangements, lovely lyrics and fresh tune.

A slow soft separation number, 'Das Dae' by Jaidev Kumar and sung superbly by Mohit Chauhan sounds good to the ears. The only deterrent are the heavy Punjabi lyrics which might not be comprehendible to all.

Pakistani artist, Bilal Saeed's all-round offering (singer, lyricist and composer)
'Mohabbat Yeh' is a lovely composition that rests on a smooth flowing tune and good arrangements. Bilal excels in all departments and makes a solid impression first up.

There is a reprise version by Asees Kaur whose strong clear vocals impress and makes for an interesting hear.

Sridevi's 'Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai' (CHAALBAAZ) is the inspiration behind the Master Saleem rendered and Jeet Ganguly composed 'Georgia Sae Jalandar', but one must admit that the song is quite a fun number and very entertaining.

Summing up, the audio of ISHQEDARRIYAAN is certainly one of the best album(s) of the year; melodious, heart touching and chartbusting. Our picks are 'Judaa', the title track and 'Mohabbat Yeh'. The hit album should help the cause of the film, especially since it is a romantic drama.
