The fourth installment in the super hit RAAZ series (RAAZ, RAAZ-THE MYSTERY CONTINUES, RAAZ -3D), RAAZ REBOOT garners expectations of epic propositions as all the earlier franchises had boasted of chartbusting scores that played a big part in the success of the films.

It's definitely an excellent start that Jeet Gannguli provides through 'Lo Maan Liya', a lovely simple tune, superb background rhythm (absolutely enchanting metallic flute piece and soft whistles). Can be described as a sort of a tribute to ex- numero uno composers of RAAZ, Nadeem-Shravan, as it is a totally melody based N-S style composition that captures hearts and will surely rule the charts. Arjit excels as always and Kausar Munir deserves a standing ovation for the beautiful lyrics, simple, effective and touching.

Arijit comes back for another haunting outing, 'Raaz Aankhein Teri', that yet again rests on a nice simple tune with minimal background music and simple, elegant lyrics (Rashmi Virag). An intense but happy love song with lovely piano, violins and orchestra.

'Humme Tumme Jo Tha' is the sad version of 'Raaz Aankhein Teri', a separation number that is situational and is rendered well with emotions by Papon, with Palak Muchal joining in briefly towards the end.

Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur are the guest composers here with just one song to their credit, 'O Meri Jaan', which is sung superbly by KK, and it's a pleasure listening to the once top singer after a long time. The song is unique and unfolds at many junctures, at times it's a soft rock, other its simple flowing tune with simple arrangements.

It's a hat trick for Arjit as he delivers yet another chartbuster in this album with 'Yaad Hai Na'. Composed by Jeet, the song's superb addictive melody and very simple lyrics are the USP of the track

Jubin Nautiyal does a wonderful job in the unplugged version of 'Yaad Hai Na', which is a laudable effort.

The 'Sound Of Raaz' is actually another unplugged brief and slower version of 'Raaz Aankhein Teri' sung well by Jubin Nautiyal with horror/mystery elements (like the sound of thunder and lightning etc) thrown in.

In brief and to sum up, the audio of RAAZ REBOOT delivers as per expectations as all the songs are excellent and have chartbuster written all over, and are quite in sync in with the script. Jeet Gangulii proves his mettle in this almost solo (just one guest composer) album and does full justice giving the album that RAAZ musical appeal. Our favourites are 'Lo Maan Liya', 'Raaz Aankhein Teri' and 'Yaad Hai Na' (both versions). The chartbusting audio should propel the film to success and mark the comeback of actor Emraan Hashmi who has for long been thirsting for a hit.
