A joint production of T-Series and Himesh Reshammiya's HR Musik Limited, TERAA SURROOR garners huge expectations from its audio, and we need not spell the reasons. Moreover it's a franchise of Himesh's hugely popular (musically) and runaway hit AAP KA SURROOR.

Soft piano notes commence a vintage Himesh Reshammiya lovelorn sad number, 'Main Woh Chaand', opening notes similar to Himesh very own chartbuster 'Teri Meri Prem Kahani' (BODYGUARD). It has some uncanny similarity to 'Tum Hi Ho' (AASHIQUI 2) as well but it's been beautifully orchestrated (piano and keyboards are outstanding) and sung emotively by Darshan Raval and is a chartbuster all the way.

A soft, love song 'Bekhudi' has a nice fresh tune and lovely arrangements (the start reminds of 'Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai), easy Urdu lyrics and is pleasing to the ears. Darshan Raval's pathetic diction is jarring ( Bekhudi and Khudai), at places but is compensated for by Aditi Singh Sharma who excels, and in fact her diction too is flawless.

Arjit Singh adds another chartbuster to his list with the sombre, sad separation 'Wafa Ne Bewafai' and is well supported by Neeti Mohan and Suzanne D'mello (who chips in with the English parts). Himesh deserves kudos for an excellently arranged number which has several layers and different shades of melody and moods. Sameer's lyrics too are superb.

Himesh Reshammiya and Badshah rock with  'Teri Yaad' and its once again vintage Himesh (of ' Aashiq Banaya' days ). Badshah's rap is the highlight of the song and it gels well with the lethal love story tag of the film.

Himesh reprises 'Teri Yaad' and this time it's sans Badshah's rap and it is a slower and softer version and makes for a good repeat hear, his nasal twang et al!

'Adhuri Zindagi' is a soft rock based love song sung well by Rituraj Mohanty but the chosen tune is very heard before and neither are the arrangements top class; the first average song of the album.

Sanjay Gupta's chart topper from KAANTE, dance number, 'Ishq Samundar' is well refurbished and rearranged and rendered with zest by Himesh himself and Kanika Kapoor.

In a nutshell, the huge expectations from the audio of TERAA SURROOR are surely met with and most of the songs have chartbuster written all over it. 'Main Woh Chaand', 'Wafa Ne Bewafai' and  'Teri Yaad' are our chosen ones. The popular audio will surely help the cause of the film when TERAA SURROOR releases all over mid-March.
