'Hanan' excels in all department

Sahara Manoranjan  had recently organized a special screening for their forthcoming film 'Hanan'  Directed by Makrand Deshpande  at Dimple Studio, Bandra. At this special screening the film received good reviews and warm response from the guests. Entire star cast including Manoj Bajpai, Sonali Kulkarni  were present. 

Among the celebrities present were Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Anu Malik, Akashdeep (creative head, Sahara Manoranjan), Art Director Nitin Chandrakant Desai, director Sanjay Dyma, Manish Jha, Actor Tinu Anand...

Hanan is about a mentally deranged couple 'Pagal-pagli' is left by Goddess Bhagvati. But the Goddess herself is cursed by a woman, who had suffered from her husband. Pagla being an auspicious dhol player of Goddess. He has to become a true husband to remove the curse of the Goddess. Thus his wife posses by Goddess had to suffer the curse.

The film has Music by Annu Malik, Edited by Ballu Saluja, Director of photography by Kiran Deohans and Art by Nitin Chandrakant Desai.

"One of those few films where all the crafts, acting, direction, music, cinematography excel together' says Akashdeep.

Deshpande's debut film 'Danav' had been nominated for Director's Fortnight Section in the Cannes Films festival 2004. While 'Hanan' is also been invited for screening in New Current section (the competitive section of the festival) of 9th Pusan International Film Festival at the scenic, port city of Pusan, Korea.
