Akshay Kumar's record of 400 crores in a single year is being spoken about amongst his fans, trade as well as industry alike. However if one thought that he would be planning any celebration around this milestone then that's not quite the case. He has moved on and is already busy working for his 2013 releases SPECIAL CHABBIS, BOSS and ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI - 2 with the shooting of THUPPAKKI remake being planned as well.

Meanwhile for his detractors who were more than eager to show him a red flag during last couple of years, one could well say that this unique feat has pretty much set the stage for him to announce that his stardom, which was earned over a 20 years' time period, is pretty much for the keeps.

Akshay isn't willing to make any such tall claims though. "And that's because no 'stardom' lasts forever; only a fickle mind would think that 'one good year cancels out two bad years'. It is shocking how quickly people get over movies. No matter how much they loved that during the weekend, they are quickly looking for the next big weekend."

He isn't complaining though. "You can't stop it, it's human nature. When one good meal is over, you want to know when is the next one coming! Same is the case with Bollywood. This industry dishes out more movies in one year than I have had hot dinners. So no matter how good this year may have been, touchwood, people are already digging for how next year is looking for me!"
