After five back to back light hearted films, Ali Zafar is turning serious. In his KILL DIL, the shooting of which is in progress at Delhi, there won't be a trademark casual approach towards humour that Ali has demonstrated ever since he made his debut with TERE BIN LADEN. Instead, he would be seen in an altogether different avatar in the Shaad Ali directed affair.

Whether it is TERE BIN LADEN, MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN, CHASHME BADDOOR or soon to be released TOTAL SIYAPAA, Ali has played his character in a certain way while being subtle, yet maintain certain humour quotient. In LONDON PARIS NEW YORK he turned romantic but that humorous streak was still present.
'It would change now with Yash Raj Films' KILL DIL which puts him into an altogether different space and setting,' informs a source.
To bring in a personality turnaround, Ali has gone through a complete look change for the film by putting on a goatee and growing his hair.
'Well, I would indeed be seen very differently when compared with my earlier work. My part is not negative but then in a strange way, it is heroically bad,' hints Ali.
Well, we would like to know how exactly that spells out once he is seen in KILL DIL which releases all over next year.
