Amitabh Bachchan has been part of the Hindi Film Industry for many years. Many young actors consider him as their role model. But the humble actor prefers to learn from the young generation.
Big B is all praise for Deepika Padukone and Prateik Babbar, with whom he has worked in Prakash Jha's AARAKSHAN.
Says the actor, "They are all very professional. In fact, I want to learn from them. This generation has its own concepts and they should. With each generation there is a change. If you have to make progress, you have to change."

Appreciating Prateik he says, "Prateik is very natural in front of the camera. He doesn't behave as though he is acting. That is one of the biggest tests for any actor, to be as natural as possible."
AARAKSHAN is the first issue based film in Amitabh's long career that spreads over 40 years.
"I'm playing the principal of a private institute, whose name is Dr. Prabhakar Anand. Since it's a private institute, the question of reservation doesn't arise. But he is very erudite and almost an idealist in his thinking. Because he is concerned about all caste and creed, he wants to treat them in a manner in which they get equal opportunities. He conducts private classes in his own backyard for people who cannot afford the fees of private institutions,' said the 68-year-old actor, speaking about his role in the film.

Taking inspiration from his reel life character, does he plan to start an educational institute in real life? "No, I don't intend to do so. This is the first issue based that I am doing. Many things that I say in this film, I internally feel very convinced about. If everyone is given an equal opportunity, the society will benefit."
Also starring Saif Ali Khan and Manoj Bajpai, AARAKSHAN is slated to release on 12th August.
