Besides its content, the music of UNGLI, starring Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranuat, Sanjay Dutt and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is also being raved about. Especially, the promotional track, the UNGLI anthem which goes like‘Ungli Pe Nachale O Chori’, featuring Emraan Hashmi with a bevy of blonde beauties. And the credit for it goes to upcoming talented Bollywood music director, Aslam Keyi.

While his stint in Bollywood started with a small time film WAR CHHOD NA YAAR, where he composed the entire album, UNGLI’s promotional track is his first biggie in tinsel town.

Says Aslam, “I was fortunate to do the track. It’s a mixture of all dance types and has folkish element too. It is sensuous yet striking. Karan Johar, who personally takes interest in each and every department, liked the track very much. He wanted it to be very unique. This is the first time Karan Johar has worked with a newcomer like me. After WAR CHHOD NA YAAR, this is my turning point in my musical career. Indeed it was a dream come true!”

Initially, music duo Salim-Sulaiman was supposed to compose the promotional track. However, Aslam came on board later.

“Earlier, Salim and Sulaiman were on board and they did make a scratch version of it. However, I got involved with it later. Karan heard the track and asked me to do the corrections. He has good music sense,” Aslam adds on a parting note.
