The prominent release of this Friday is R. Balki’s Kareena and Arjun Kapoor starrer KI & KA. Surprising as it may sound but despite good promotion, decent audio score and face value, the film is not carrying the hype that it should have! Having said that, given Balki’s reputation and Kareena’s box-office popularity, one hopes that KI & KA springs a pleasant surprise at the ticket window.

Also listed for release (at some places) is Shadab Khan’s M. A. PASS, though the film does not have much of a chance at the box-office.

Moving on, the Nishikant Kamat directed John Abraham starrer, ROCKY HANDSOME, got affected by BATMAN V. SUPERMAN : DAWN OF JUSTICE (especially at multiplexes), netting just around 17 crore (to be validated) during the opening weekend. Additionally, the film has been unable to achieve a stable run during the weekdays. Given the 40 crore plus (all inclusive) cost, ROCKY HANDSOME has its task cut out.
