This week's major release, Vashu Bhagnani's Sajid Khan directed Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Bipasha Basu, Chunky Pandey, Ram Kapoor and Tamannah Bhatia starrer, HUMSHAKALS, could not match up to the expectations of a good opening.

HUMSHAKALS AND HOLIDAY: A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY

The film saw a start in the range of 25-35 percent, with Delhi-NCR, Gujarat and Mumbai faring the best. There was a pick up during the latter shows at some stations. Having said that, HUMSHAKALS, unlike the two week old HOLIDAY, does not carry a very positive audience feedback in its favour, but can still hope for a turnaround in the coming days.
Meanwhile last week's FUGLY managed a 12 crore opening week, and should scrape to safety after accounting for non-theatrical rights.

Concluding with Vipul Shah's A. R. Murugadoss directed Akshay-Sonakshi starrer, HOLIDAY - A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY, the film saw a rock steady second week, in the range of 30-31 crore and crossed the 100 crore mark from India on Friday. HOLIDAY is expected to continue its winning run even this week.
