Impressed by her over-the-top and audacious role of Veronica in COCKTAIL, Deepika Padukone had been offered to be the ambassador of top automobile brand. Deepika Padukone had signed the deal of endorsing a Scooty for a huge amount; the exact figures haven't been disclosed.
After seeing Deepika's brilliant performance in Cocktail, the owners of the brand thought she will be the perfect face for endorsing the brand as she so successfully played the character of a free spirit who lives life on her own terms. Deepika's performance was liked by audiences immensely which made the brand owners even keener on having Deepika as their endorser.

Now the latest is that the sales of the brand have gone up by 20 per cent and impressed everyone. Not only the brand has taken aback as it shows that people have identified a lot of Veronica and therefore decided to buy the Scooty.
The brand now plans to have a veronica series, where character or persona fromVeronica takes different situations and expands the campaign. A lot like Aamir Khan's various branda campaign where he took on different characters, here she takes on different situations.
