A little less than three years after LOVE BREAKUPS ZINDAGI, Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha are back with their second production BOBBY JASOOS. Though one wonders why the newcomer producers took a break between their two films, the couple says that it was a conscious call to hold on for a while before bringing their next on screen.

"Honestly, at times there is a pressure that builds on to make your next film soon. However we were clear about one thing that whatever we do, it had to bear a stamp of quality. Also, a film had to be entertaining enough and also bring something unique for the audience. Yes, I won't deny that in hunt for one such wonderful script, weeks turn into months and months turn into years. It also becomes a little scarier. But then you have to go with your conviction while remembering that why you were here in the first place and what did you want to stand for," says Dia.
Once BOBBY JASOOS was finalized, it was a matter of time before Vidya Balan came on board as the central protagonist.
"The idea was to do something that would excite people universally," says Sahil, "The good news is that this is an era of wonderful cinema and if you really put your heads down and do your best, you would eventually come up with something superb. We spent two years into bringing up BOBBY JASOOS. During this time, we also gained a lot of goodwill and respect. Perhaps after BOBBY JASOOS, we would bring our next film sooner."
Meanwhile one waits to catch up with BOBBY JASOOS which arrives on 4th July all over.
