Ismail Darbar is leaving no stone unturned for his directorial debut, so much so that he set up a massive set inspired from the one in MOULIN ROUGE for the first schedule where a dance number was shot.

Production designer Shyam Bhatia, who is known for designing flamboyant sets for TV shows such as ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Masterchef India’ was roped in to create an ethnic Moulin Rouge within fraction of the original’s budget in just 9 days.

Around 18 designers worked day and night for 9 days to create the entire set with painstaking details as per the director Ismail Darbar’s brief. The final result was such that whoever walked into set during the shoot couldn’t stop gushing about the set and couldn’t believe that it was just put up for one song.

Ismail Darbar says "The set is inspired from that of MOULIN ROUGE. I've been fascinated by it ever since I saw the film as it reminded me of my time playing in Broadway theatres."
