An effort of Ghazal Maestro Pankaj Udhas and The Oberoi Hotels, this was the third year of Khazana. Informed Udhas, As artists we earn a lot of name, fame and money. Through Khazana we try to give back to the society a little bit of what we can do for them. I am proud to inform you that all artists who have performed at Khazana, from the senior most to the new comer, have performed for free. Encouraged by this gesture we have decided to take Khazana to other cities. This year we are looking at holding it in Delhi and eventually taking it to other cities.

The ghazal artists who performed at the two-day extravaganza besides Udhas included Talat Aziz, Rajinder & Nina Mehta, Ahmed Hussain & Mohd. Hussain, Penaz Mesani, Bhupinder & Mithali Singh, Anup Jalota, Ghansham Vaswani, Sawti Natekar & Madhushree.

The festival saw a total collection of Rs. 26 lakhs in two days and the entire amount has been donated to the two organizations for social cause. On both days the festival went on till the wee hours of morning.
