Our patrons will recall our interesting exclusives about Indra Kumar’s much talked about SUPER NANI, starring the ageless Rekha in the title role, along with the handsome Sharman Joshi, last year!

The film itself assumes importance as it marks the comeback (of sorts) of not only Rekha but also Indra Kumar’s pretty daughter Shweta, who made a forgettable debut with Himesh Reshammiya’s KARZZZ.

SUPER NANI, which was being eagerly awaited and was due to release last year itself, got delayed for reasons not known. However, grapevine is abuzz that Indra Kumar, who is famous for his superstitious nature (hard core film buffs will remember his famous Ooty tree fascination which was a part of all his super hit films), has decided to re-shoot a few scenes of the film as he is not entirely satisfied with the final product.

CHECK OUT: Rekha's SUPER NANI to arrive this Diwali

While sources say that Rekha was the main reason behind the re-shoot, but those who know Indra Kumar personally, say that it was entirely Indra’s decision to re-shoot parts of SUPER NANI. Unit sources, associated with Indra Kumar for a long time, add that they had also re-shot some scenes from super hit films like DIL, BETA and even the recent GRAND MASTI.

Certainly, we hope that SUPER NANI too would be super hit like DIL, BETA and GRAND MASTI, this Diwali.
