It is going to be horror and only horror for Bhushan Patel. Buoyed by the super-success of RAGINI MMS-2, the erstwhile associate of Vikram Bhatt is now not even considering changing lanes and experimenting with different genres. With a horror film each with Kumar Mangat and Sanjay Gupta in the offering, Bhushan is happy to be first building a niche for himself in the horror genre and then take a plunge into anything different.

"When industry folks tell me that after Vikram, I am the one considered for the role of a horror film director, it is a matter of pride. Somehow, I am being approached for horror films only, especially with RAGINI MMS-2 doing so well," says Bhushan who started his career with another horror film, 1920 - EVIL RETURNS, which was successful too.
"It's not that I don't want to make anything else but then let me first make an image for myself. Once I am able to create a niche for myself, then I can go out there and start making whatever I feel like. So far it has been so good actually. I just wish to keep shooting films," smiles Bhushan.
First to go on floors would be Kumar Mangat's next, an official announcement around which is all set to be made.

"We are ready with a bound script and the actors too are more or less on board. And yes, it is of course a horror film," he says.
As for the film with Sanjay Gupta, talks are currently on for an association to be built.
"We are discussing a horror script though I am yet to sign on the dotted line. Once we close on the eventual subject and do other formalities, it would be time to bring it out in open as well," informs Bhushan before signing off. Meanwhile, with RAGINI MMS-2 turning out to be the second highest horror grosser (it is aiming at 50 crore mark) after Vikram Bhatt's RAAZ 3 (70 crore), it is time to celebrate for Bhushan and team.
