“A lot has been said about Govinda and his temperament, his behaviour and stuff. But it had no concern to me. On the contrary, I had absolutely amazing, smooth sailing experience with him. It was an incredible experience to be sharing screen space with my idol, to be acting and dancing along with him. It was really a big deal for me!” Ranveer clears.

“For me, he is an outstanding talent. He is so great that there is no honour one can bestow on him to justify it. I had grown up on his movies and seen every film of his. Even today Govinda has that spark. Even during KILL DIL shoot he just flabbergasted me. There was a scene in the film, which he did in one take at a stretch for 8 minutes. Everybody just rushed to him and clapped. That’s the kind of magic he holds,” he adds further praising his favourite screen-idol.
