A year ago it looked like music director Daboo Malik had settled down in Sohail Khan Productions for good, with the latter planning to sign him for a few more projects after MAINE DIL TUJHKO DIYA and I - PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN. But equations keep changing in the industry, so do loyalties and Malik was in for a surprise one day when he learnt that Sohail Khan had signed music director Preetam to do his next film, FIGHT CLUB. "But I have no grudge against anyone. It all depends from film to film," says the younger brother of Anu Malik, who prefers to keep a low profile and let his work speak for himself.

Daboo has now been signed by leading maker from the south, K. Balakumar, who is all set to enter into Hindi film production with as many as five films, out of which Daboo will compose the music for three films. The one which will start first is a film titled WHITE LAND starring Ashish Chaudhary and Gracy Singh.
