Records continue to fall like nine pins for Yash Raj Films’ Salman-Anushka starrer SULTAN. In fact it is becoming difficult to keep track of the new records it is shattering on a daily basis!

As per the details, after the biggest 3-day century (106.50 crore), where SULTAN beat Salman’s very own BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN (102 crore), the film set another record by netting in excess of 30 crore for five days on the trot (previous record 2-days), and in the process netted over 180 crore during the extended (5-day) weekend from India.

The Ali Abbas Zafar directed SULTAN is now looking at achieving the fastest 200 crore from India, and as we had said last week, the 90 crore (cost of production 70 crore, publicity 20 crore) film is on its way to a blockbuster status for sure, based on the Indian theatrical run.

SULTAN is also rocking the overseas, grossing around $13.50m (with $3.2m  from the US), in just 5-days!
