The demise of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra has certainly sent a shock wave across the industry but Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, with whom he directed his last film JAB TAK HAI JAAN, to be released on 13th November 2012, and who was absolutely close to the late filmmaker, feels extinguished.

Shahrukh couldn't contain his emotions and tweeted, "Whenever my loved ones depart...i feel a part of me extinguishes itself with them. Will there come a day.....that I will no longer have a bit of myself to let go of? And then the thought follows...that every time they have taken some of me..... ...with them onto their last journey, I have found a fragment of them left inside me too..."

Yash Chopra directed Shahrukh Khan in films like DARR (1993), DIL TOH PAGAL HAI (1997), VEER-ZAARA (2004) and lastly JAB TAK HAI JAAN (2012).

Shahrukh was like a family to Yash Chopra. The actor even hosted a warm & candid conversation recently with Yash Chopra on his 80th birthday.
