Bollywood filmmakers always come up with quirky ideas to promote their films. We have seen all kind of funny and innovative ideas of promoting and films’ marketing.
But this one takes the cake away for being the most amusing idea to promote a film. We are talking about Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming romantic comedy RUNNINGSHAADI.COM.
The actress almost gate-crashed a wedding ceremony went up to the stage and invited everybody to dance with her on ‘Dimpy De Naal Bhaage Bunty’ a peppy number from her soon to be released film.

The guests at the wedding responded to her request with enthusiasm much to the actress’ surprise.
Talking about promoting the film in such an innovative way, Taapsee said, 'I was so thrilled and slightly nervous to execute this idea. Nothing can be more special to play the first song of our film in a real shaadi. I took the risk of gate crashing the sangeet ceremony and to my surprise the guests there welcomed me with equal enthusiasm. The bride and groom had no idea about my visit so the best thing was to notice their expressions. They were totally taken back. The entire gathering danced with me on my song. A Gujarati wedding but the way they did a Punjabi jig was priceless. I shall remember this experience for a lifetime because this is the first time ever I have gate crashed a wedding function.'
Well that was really very amusing and interesting way of promoting a film as well as its music and hats off to whomsoever who came up with this brilliant idea. But we wonder why Taapsee’s co-star Amit didn’t joined her in executing this unique promotional strategy.
Directed by Amit Roy, RUNNINGSHAADI.COM will hit the theatres on 3rd February. The film is based on a unique concept where the team of Amit and Taapsee along with their friend helps couple in love to elope and get married much to the anger of their warring families.
