Producer Tutu Sharma's much-awaited film 'PAANCH', which was to mark the debut of actress, Tejaswini Kolhapure, is being lined up for a December release according to Sharma. "The film went through multiple problems including those of censorship, besides problems with distributors, which eventually delayed its release. However the problems have been sorted out and I have confirmed a tie-up with an all-Indian chain of distributors. I am also releasing my other production, 'KHULLAM KHULLA PYAR KARENGE'. I will be making a formal announcement to this effect next week," Sharma revealed.

It may be mentioned that 'PAANCH', the ambitious directorial debut of Anurag Kashyap, was cleared by the Film Appellate Tribunal, after the Censor Board refused to grant it certification on the grounds that the film glorified violence and portrayed crime in graphic detail. The film was in great demand in the international film market where it was screened to foreign distributors and its trials had won an excellent feedback but the release just did not seem to happen.
