With Ayushmann Khurranna finding good footing in Bollywood, especially with a three film contract with Yash Raj Films and continued association with John Abraham and Shoojit Sircar, one would have expected him to have settled down in Mumbai for good. However it is just on the contrary, what with the actor living out of a suitcase and his wife and son permanently stationed in Chandigarh.
'That's true, Ayushmann's family has not yet moved to Mumbai. His wife and two year old son continue to live with his parents in Chandigarh. With the kind of hectic lifestyle, erratic shooting schedules and continued travel plans that Ayushmann has, it is just not practically possible for them to live together,' informs a source.
Though he is of course saddened by the fact that he is not there for his family and vice versa, Ayushmann understands the practical reality of the situation.

'Last few months have been pretty hectic and things are not going to change till end of this year at the least,' he says, 'I have been literally shooting 24X7 for my three films. They require a lot of traveling too.'
So while BEWAKOOFIYAAN was extensively shot in Delhi NCR, DUM LAGA KE HAISHA is being shot in Haridwar. His other film on floors, BOMBAY FAIRYTALE has an extensive schedule in Gujarat and Pune. On the other hand 1911 would take him to Kolkata. This isn't all as another film of his which is expected to be announced soon would take him to Allahabad.

'As you can see, there is neither Mumbai nor Chandigarh in the plans, so what's the point in anyone re-locating? Till then, thankfully I have Haridwar to be content with. Sitting here on the banks of Ganga and watching the river flow in front of me is so beautiful. I am keeping myself content with all the spirituality around me,' sighs Ayushmann.
Meanwhile, he is planning to take a quick holiday with his family to be with them for a few days at the least.
