YAMLA PAGLA Sunny and Bobby Deol are back with POSTER BOYS

Bollywood’s trendsetting hulk Sunny Deol who reinvented the action hero of Bollywood with his cult ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ will be back with brother Bobby Deol in POSTER BOYS. After YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA, the Deol brothers are set to make you go ROFL.


Titled POSTER BOYS , the movie is the official remake of the 2014 Marathi money spinner POSHTER BOYZ produced by Shreyas Talpade and directed by Sameer Patil.

The Hindi version will be made under the banner of Sony Pictures Networks who had already announced MUBARAKAN starring the uncle nephew duo - Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor to be helmed by Anees Bazmee.

To be directed by Shreyas Talpade marking his debut as director, the actor will also essay a pivotal role in the film, POSTER BOYSis said to be a nonstop laugh riot that will see Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade stuck in an awkward situation that makes it difficult for them to explain it even to their own families.

For the first time Sunny and Bobby Deol will be not be seen as brothers on screen and reportedly will appear in a never before seen avatar.

In a unique manner the movie was announced on Sony’s popular Kapil Sharma’s show.

Speaking on the occasion Sneha Rajani, Dy President & Head, Sony Pictures Networks Productions said, “As a studio, we believe in content- driven stories that will be loved by the audiences. POSTER BOYS is one such film. I am confident that Shreyas in his directorial debut will do justice to this outstanding script. The biggest highlight is the casting of this film as both, Sunny and Bobby are playing roles which are a first for them in their respective careers.”.

Calling it as a beginning of a hopefully fruitful association with Sony Pictures Network, Sunny Deol said, “We loved the concept of POSTER BOYS when Shreyas shared the script with us. I have known Shreyas for a while now and relate to his sensibilities. The way he is bringing the character and story alive is very engaging. This film is just a beginning of our association with Sony Pictures Networks Productions and I am sure that it will go a long way forward.'

Speaking on his directorial debut, Shreyas Talpade said, “I am not sure if I had thought I would ever direct and not in my wildest dreams did I think that in my directorial debut I would be directing a legend, Sunny Deol, who I grew up watching. This shift is very exciting and I am overwhelmed with the fact that Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Sunny Sounds Pvt LTD have shown this faith in me.”
