A brand new trailer for ‘Loki’ is out now.
Marvel Studios has dropped the first official trailer for the upcoming spinoff series starring Tom Hiddleston as the notorious ‘Avengers’ villain, which is set to debut on Disney Plus next year.
The new footage which dropped on Friday, gives us a clearer look at what to expect as the story picks after the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
The trailer begins with a scene from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in which Loki, the Asgardian god of mischief disappears after stealing the tesseract and is transported to a mysterious land.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige described the show as a “crime thriller” and will see Loki facing off against the TVA, a mysterious organisation in a new alternate timeline.
The Disney Plus series also features Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant in key roles.
Written by ‘Rick & Morty’ alum Michael Waldron, the show is executive produced by studio chief Kevin Feige. Waldron will also serve as executive producer for the series alongside director, Kate Herron, reports Deadline.
‘Loki’ will debut in May 2021 on Disney Plus.
